What do I offer?
As a professional musician with personal experience in many fields of live performance, pedagogy, and theory, I am competent at providing a very wide array of knowledge to anyone who would wish to advance in their knowledge about music!
My Teaching Experience
I have the privilege and pleasure to have had lessons with over 35 percussion students from: USA, Hong Kong, South Korea, Canada, Germany, Norway, Italy, Poland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Spain, Argentina, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Venezuela, ranging from 14 to 29 years old, from high school to university to working people.
What is my skillset?
I specialize in the one-hand approach on the marimba and general marimba playing, and am well-versed in all three standard grips; traditional, Burton, and Stevens.
However, I am competent and skilled in all classical percussion instruments, have very good foundations in improvisation, musical theory, harmony, aural training, composition, jazz/pop piano, and am familiar with basics of music production.
